UDK: How to Take High Resolution Screenshots

UDK tutorial shows how you can take high resolution screenshots in-game for your portfolio or for print.

UDK How to Take High Resolution Screenshots

START YOUR MAP

Launch the game and start one of your maps. Turn off the number of opponnets, goal score and time limit.

CONSOLE

Bring up your console by hitting tilde key ~

TOGGLE SCREENSHOT MODE

Remove all the hud elements by typing in 'togglescreenshotmode'. You may need to do this twice.

FLY

Bring up the console again and type in 'fly'.

POSITION

Position your camera where you want to take your screenshot from.

TAKING THE SCREENSHOT

Press Tab key for minimized console. You will see it come up on the bottom of your screen.

Type in 'tiledshot' and press enter.

WHERE IS THE SCREENSHOT?

Navigate to your UDK installation folder.

Default is: C:\UDK\UDK-2010-08\UDKGame\ScreenShots

TAKING HIGHER RES SCREENSHOTS

To take higher res screenshot, simply type in 'tiledshot X'

X=number

Example 'tiledshot 4'.
