Thanks Keith for the great feedback.
I ordered the book. I will finish up the map with some final touches in few weeks. Few people express alot of interest in PS3 version, so I will do that for them as well. Can't wait to start on something new. Already have few ideas in mind.

Alright, my quick honest critique:
It looks fuckn' good! The beam from the lighthouse, shadowing and lighting all look excellent. Modeling is great, and textures all work well together. From the screen shots I imagine myself using behind the house(wood piles and fences as well to push out), the lighthouse, and the hillside for cover. Because the middle is wide open this would make me become more defensive rather than push forward and take an aggressive stance. Looking at it again-- I believe the hillsides are what you were going for as main routes? I believe this map would shine as a "railgun only" type of map (If you remember quake 3:arena). So this could be good or bad depending on what you were going for. Anyway, you started something and finished it promptly. Which is already more than what a lot of people can do. I really look forward to seeing more of your designs. PS. IMO, you should come back to work on this map after some time has passed and add more finer details. Since you are serious about level designing I recommend this book to you: http://www.amazon.com/Architecture-Francis-D-K-Ching/dp/0471752169/ref=pd_b bs_sr_3?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1231297544&sr=8-3 It's kind of an advanced read. Have a notebook/pencil, and a dictionary on hand. Bye!
