When exporting your objects to game engines it is extremely important to be able to modify pivot points, snap to grid and keep your objects aligned and grid friendly. In this tutorial we cover how to snap to grid, hotkeys for snapping and how to modify pivots.

TOOLBAR SNAP OPTIONS

You can access many snap options on your toolbar.

SNAP HOTKEYS

Using hotkeys to access is a better way to use snap options, rather then coming up to the toolbar.

  • X = snap to grid
  • C = snap to points

MODIFY PIVOT

To modify objects pivot points you will need to press the Insert key to cycle between on/off pivot point modification.

  • Insert = on/off pivots
